bosslady46 51 Posted February 16, 2015 Was sleeved on May 2nd. I have lost 50 lbs but for the past month, I've stalled! Doesn't help that I now travel several times per month for my job. Trying to start over but very depressed. I'm afraid I've stretched my sleeve. I remember reading about a stretch test. Can anyone tell me if they have heard of it? I wanted to be down another 20lbs by my surgiversary. Just needed to vent.
*Lexie* 1,486 Posted February 17, 2015 I lose slowly too and I've tried various things to pick things up when I stop losing. The most effective was that I went back on my pre-op diet for a few days. If you can stand it for longer than that, then I'm sure it would be even more effective. My pre-op diet was 2 Protein shakes and a healthy meal. If I do that for a few days, I'll usually lose a few pounds that week. You can take shakes when you travel and that could help keep your calories low when you have all your meals at restaurants. ProjectMe 909 Posted February 17, 2015 Also, I'm not sure how many calories you are getting in, but I found that I need to get at least 800 per day to see the scale move. I'm also a slow loser
beachplum 133 Posted February 17, 2015 I was also sleeved in May 2014, and my weight loss has seriously stalled since before Christmas. It's making me crazy. I know I need to eat less carbs though. I know that will make a huge difference if I do.
