hstrayorn 26 Posted February 15, 2015 This is a little embarrassing to ask, but I'm putting it out there and I hope no one is offended. But for those who have had gastric bypass, how long after the surgery did you have to wait to have sex again? Did your sexual relationship change any? I would like to hear all voices on this, but men especially. Being a married guy I've been wondering?
Twopoorfarmers 2 Posted February 16, 2015 Had the sleeve so don't know if I can help. Started after just a week and things been good. As the weight comes off you become more confident and that help too. Good luck
mae7365 372 Posted February 16, 2015 Female viewpoint - I was pretty sickly the first 4 weeks after surgery so sex was the last thing I wanted to be involved in. But as my weight has dropped and I have this new, thinner body....my husband is having an "affair" with his new wife. And I don't cringe at the thought of being naked. In fact, walking around in my new pretty under garments is just plain FUN!
JackieBrown 183 Posted February 16, 2015 Totally second what @@mae7365 said. I don't try to turn out the light all the time now, but prance around in my sexy undies.
