So Friday Feb 20th, 2015 I will be having a TT, BL/BA and Lipo in Mexico. I am beyond excited and have really appreciated all who have shown pictures and shared experiences, and look forward to being able to share mine!

Oh yes, and I forgot to mention that I will have the fat transfer to the rear, which happens to be almost as flat as my bust is, lol!

@@Think can't wait to see that! I had a butt lift and my upper rear is better than the lower half. I was thinking about getting fat injected, but I'm about out of fat, so I need to decide that before I have any Lipo. I have a little fat left in my thighs. Never thought I'd ever be worrying about not having enough fat, lol!

I completely agree!

Yes, I hope he is able to get enough to make it look like I have at least a resemblance of a rear end. If not, I will live with it, since I have no desire to actually have implants put in there, lol!

A bit more about me. I am a 47 mother of 3 grown children, last one by emergency c-section. Obviously I have had other surgeries, the open gallbladder, heart valve replacement and spleen removal. I completely understand this is not going to make the vertical 'stem-to-stern' incision vanish. It's more about the obnoxious overhang I have of my abdomen and the deflated boobs.

I am 5' 3.5", and 118 lbs. Highest weight was about 220 lbs before the heart surgery.

Pre-op photos, ugh! Bless one of my dear girlfriends for taking these hideous photos!

@@Think you don't look that bad and your thighs are great. I'll bet you have a really nice outcome. Are you getting an anchor cut? Safe surgery and speedy healing to you!

I agree, you've got a great starting point, and I think you'll be amazed at the results. Your thighs are better than mine after having 2.5 pounds of skin and fat cut off of each of them. Good luck, and can't wait to see how great you look!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
