The infamous Boa has a home!

Recommended Posts

Donali: You will be happy to learn the precious BOA has a new home. The recipient is quite pleased and cherishs the gift as much as I did. Also, the recipient is quite protective of the boa. You have to ask permission to even touch the thing much less wear it. See picture. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEE!!!

I love it! But I have to confess that the boa looked even better on that picture of DeLarla's dog.

Awe, Sachi really does love that boa! Do you believe I'm still finding boa feathers? I just picked 2 off the front porch yesterday. I pick one up and two more fall from the sky.

My dog is black and white and would look fabulous in that boa! Guess I'll have to go shopping with her. I'm nowhere near buying new clothes for myself yet, so I might as well indulge the dog.

That bear could use a nice dress and some new shoes to go with the boa. Of course, naked with a boa is quite sexy, too. :P

Great going with the weight loss, Penni. ;)

I love that Teddy Bear too. His name is BONGO by the way. He certainly is huggable. I pat him on the head before I go to bed at night. I swear I hear him do a purring grumbling sound when I do that. Yes, I am nutz. LOL!!! My whole house is invaded with stuffed animals. Just ask Lisa/DeLarla.

Whoo hooo!!! Bongo has a boa! So glad it found a good home, and can be out in the light to be seen and adored. :D

It gave me great joy to be able to pass along something that I held so dear for so long - a relief to not have to give it up to a stranger. Thanks, Penni, for adopting my boa and giving it a good home. :D

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
