hollisrn76 21 Posted February 13, 2015 I'm 10 days post op and I feel sharp pain in upper left abdomen right at the incision that took my stomach out. Has anyone experienced this? Normal? I'm applying a heating pad. The pain comes and goes every 30 seconds. TIA
Jpl1966 0 Posted February 14, 2015 I am 4 days out and have pain around the same place when I drink and eat It is almost like a cross between gas pains and hunger pains. When the pain hits it is followed by some belching. It goes away immediately. I also had a hiatal hernia repair. The Dr. Discovered it during my surgery and went ahead and fixed it. The nurse who called for a follow up assured me it will go away but might take a couple of weeks. I am just wondering if this pain is related more to the hiatal hernia than it is the sleeve?
