Jack 855 Posted February 12, 2015 and what comments does anyone have on a home-computer software set up? I've seen the on-line versions and now have decided to buy one AT HOME without all the cookies/privacy issues/etc. I've used a variety of on-line free programs over the years, but have decided to actually get my own. 'Diet Master' seems to have high marks & is on sale for $24.95. What's 'best' and works well?
terriewoods 8 Posted February 13, 2015 When you say diet management software are you talking about like My Fitness Pal? I use My Fitness Pal and really like it. It is kind of hard with the band because I need the Protein but it helps me keep up with my calories. I also have a fitbit that I wear everyday and it links with the My Fitness Pal. rebiken 3 Posted February 27, 2015 Jack you can link the 2 apps on your smart phone or tablet. Sometimes my Fitbit tells me I have more steps then myfitnesspal. But you just go to your apps settings and tell them to talk to each other basically.
Jack 855 Posted March 16, 2015 Thanks for the 'smartphone' idea.....someday I may get around to trying one out. Still plodding along with the old steam-powered 'non-app' style device.....almost no one I know can believe it. Not sure what all I'm missing, but for sure the screen size just ain't compatible with my geezer vision.
