imsoglad56 402 Posted February 12, 2015 Yesterday was 5 months since my VSG and as of this morning I've lost exactly 90 pounds! Only 90 more to reach my goal weight of 140. imsoglad56 402 Posted February 13, 2015 Thanks, everyone. My husband hasn't lost quite as much as me, but he didn't have as much to lose anyway. He's lost 85 pounds and is 4 pounds away from goal. I'm 102 pounds down now and my husband is down 97 pounds and below his goal, working on reaching his stretch goal. Dr. Jay has such a light touch, the surgery was incredibly easy to recover from. Nursejlcox 29 Posted April 2, 2015 I just had my consult with him last week, a good friend was sleeved 2 years ago and reached her goal of 100 lbs lost in 7 months...needless to say she HIGHLY recommended him! I think he is so nice! I am self pay and that is my only complaint, that his office hasn't been totally upfront about costs, they kinda like to bait-and-switch. But that's not him, that's his office manager. He is wonderful and seems to think that because my BMI is fairly low that I will do well...I'm a School Nurse and waiting until summer break so the wait is tough...June 18 is the date! Can't wait!!
