Mom0f3inOC 11 Posted February 11, 2015 (edited) Did anyone have to remove any of their clothing to weigh in your first time (except shoes, which I know I have to remove)? Edited March 5, 2015 by Mom0f3inOC
Jrs_lovely1 12 Posted February 11, 2015 I did not have to take off anything. So far they only take clothing into consideration when checking for a weight loss. For example during my weigh ins if I am close to my previous weight, they will look at my clothes and make notes. Of course this is my office practice. Not sure of others. maggiemayuk 106 Posted February 11, 2015 When I had my first weigh-in I was fully clothed including shoes - only took my coat off. Tbh a pound here or there means nothing in the grand scheme of things so I don't they bother about it too much.
Anna Davidson Martinez 8 Posted February 11, 2015 I'm going to be within a few pounds of the weight I need to be in order to qualify for surgery. Today is my weigh in and with clothes on, I should qualify. If I have to take off anything I will not weigh enough. Did anyone have to remove any of their clothing to weigh in your first time (except shoes, which I know I have to remove)? Nope, I leave all my clothes on and put down my purse. I get squirrely sometimes, because I weight myself at home NAKED! It makes a difference of about 5-8 lbs. My doc told me that I MUST not gain an ounce, so I go ape and almost panic when I see the numbers slip and slide around a pound.
