You are asking the wrong question, because everyone's post-op diet plan is different. What you should ask is "what did you eat during the XXXXX stage?" Are you on purees? Soft foods? Solids? Until we know that, we can't help you.

I just went back and looked at my calendar and at 4 weeks post-op, I was allowed ground meat and legumes for the first time, so the first thing I did was go out and get a cup of Wendy's chili. I was able to eat a little less than half a small chili, but it was the best thing ever! By that point I was already eating soft cheeses, scrambled eggs, shredded chicken, and tuna. So those were the things I was eating a lot of. I made Shelly's Ricotta Bake (google it) a lot and that usually made about 4 dinner's worth. I bought some turkey meatballs from Trader Joes and heated up two of those with a little pizza sauce in the microwave... that was another favorite. We bought Jack Daniels pulled chicken and I ate some of the chicken in a coffee cup while my husband made himself sandwiches out of it. I think I also tried some quinoa with tofu around that time, but I ended up not sticking with eating that regularly because of the low Protein content compared to the other things I was eating.

I was going to say the same thing as JamieLogical...your question is a little too broad. If the assumption is you're at stage 4, you should be introducing yourself to more solid foods, but do this very slowly. Are you looking for Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack ideas? Breakfast - soft stuff like scrambled eggs, oatmeal, etc. lunch should be like soft, moist meats like tuna with light mayo, etc. dinner should be moist meat like chicken or something with vitamin-rich veggies and very light on the starches. Everything should try to be high Protein and high Vitamins, so you won't need to fully depend on Protein shakes and such for your Protein intake. Again, based on this assumption, this is where you should be trying to train your body for the 'from now on' type of eating.

Hope this helps...wish you the best!!

4th week....greek yogurt from light and fit, red seedless grapes, shaved deli meat ham and turkey. Saltines(2 will do it),cracker pretzels because it has no yeast so it won't get stuck, moist scramble eggs, Soups, chicken-no noodle, bean Soup, Pasta fagioli without the pasta, ham salad from publix, Protein Bars, sugar free ice cream. I make sure i meet Protein of 60grams and stay under sugar before giving myself a treat. Oh yeah, i managed 2 wings very slowly. Increasing the calorie intake has broken the 3 week stall.
