tia92 7 Posted February 8, 2015 Finally finished my tier 3 weight management programme which Is part of the compulsory programme before surgery is an option. It all went fine and feel very informed and know that surgery is right for me they have said I will be approved so long as there is no underlying medical conditions that can cause a problem . Etc .. So now I am literally waiting for a letter with the date of my next appointment to meet with surgeon etc ... And for routine tests .... Then after that I think I will be given my date for surgery . If my last appointment was in January does any one know how long till I receive the letter for my appointment with surgeon and other healthcare professionals will take .. Anyone with any insight would be very much welcomed .. Have been waiting for so long now I'm so ready !!!
paulajan 0 Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) I am like you waiting for the approval. my doctor said it could take a week to up to a month. I am trying to aim for the first week in April. The only major obstacle I had was with my primary doctor. she is not for bariatric surgery. I wish you the best of luck on journey to a better you.
