Hi i have a question i just had my first filling today and i want to know when i will feel that i am restricted can anybody tell me

Victoria, take it easy! Sometimes it takes up to 2 weeks for the fill to hit. Are you staying on liquids the rest of the day today?

I think that depends on the individual. My firstfill took a week to kick in but my 2nd fill I felt instantly. Take it slow..

Definitely follow your doctors orders. You could feel your fill immediately, or not. Sometimes, it takes awhile to get restriction. Maybe even up to your 2nd or 3rd fill. You will know when you start eating real food. I would take it slow and try to follow the instructions your doctor gave you. Proteins first, veggies second, anything else IF you still have room. Try not to eat more than 1 cup of food, preferrably 1/2 cup. If you are still hungry, you can eat again later. Just don't over-do it.

I had fill placed with my initial band placement, but didn't feel the fill until a couple of weeks later. I felt it come on with the visit from my monthly friend, and it didn't go away after it was over, so I'm not sure if it kicked in at the 2 week mark or the cycle induced it. Either way, it was 2 weeks then suddenly good restriction.
