<p>hello i was look on the internet and i saw that somone had out eat the lap band or gain wight with it. I have not had my surgery yea but i'm really thinking about this , i dont want to have surgery and gain wight . one more thing can you loose to much wight to fast</p>

I REALLY feared this too. I was almost at goal in Feb 07 and have not gained back. I still get very full and hate that heart burn feeling. I avoid it and sometimes I think I quit eating too soon.

My tastes have changed too. I have had a pan of bro****s on my counter with Ger*** ******** icing and have not had one. Whodathunkit?

Yes, you can gain weight after banding. Yes, you can "eat around" the band by drinking calories, or eating high calorie food that goes down easy (ice cream, chocolate and so on)

Yes, you can lose weight fast. Too fast? Maybe. But if you are doing the right thing by eating good healthful foods, and exercising, and not starving yourself, then no, its just how fast your body wants to lose.
