jenwata 0 Posted February 4, 2015 Hello all! I'm new here - my surgery is March 2. I have to do 4 weeks of liquid diet, so I started that a couple of days ago. I'm from Alberta, Canada and am 36 years old. Any tips for surviving the liquid diet?

Christina44 6 Posted February 4, 2015 I am sure your liquid diet may vary frommine as I amin the U.S. and am allowed Jello and yogurt and cream of Soups along with my Protein shakes but hopefully this will help you. I drank Water a LOT of Water to feel full as well as weighed myself everymorning.Watching the scale drop is a huge motivation. Day ten liquid diet here....I dream about cheeseburgers lol....good luck

highdesertblue 70 Posted February 4, 2015 Can you have sugar free popsicles or sugar free Jello? My surgery date is Mar. 3 and I don't start my liquid diet until Feb. 17, but I plan to stock up on the popsicles and Jello.
salsera305 2 Posted February 4, 2015 It all varies per dr mine allowed it. Just dont get used to sugar free creamsicles. I created a taste for it before and now my new tummy cant take the cream. Sugar free italian ice and fruitbars are good too
