Hi my surgical twin :) I am also december 2 lol

My hair is totally thinning like you

Say yours is. I have huge hair balls in the shower drain. It's worse than after having my babies.

I looked over the 5 day pouch jump start. It makes sense and there is a lot of great recipes. I googled it, but I believe someone has a link to it on here.

I too had a stall, about a month. I felt like giving up and that all my work and surgery was for nothing. I was super depressed and felt like a failure. But today I feel better and started dropping again.

Please send me an email or text 678-497-5820 or tamnic75@gmail.com Tammy

I'm a December sleever! I'm 16 weeks post op, and have lost 44 pounds. I feel great. I'm at a plateau, but I believe that this will pass in a few weeks. I really have no craving other than for peanut butter!

By the way, had the sleeve surgery on December 23.

Sleeved 12/29, down 76 lbs, feeling energetic, my brain won't shut down when I need to sleep, I haven't been getting anywhere near my goal in Protein or Water the past two weeks, and my hair is falling out like crazy!! =/

I'm 4 months post surgery, sleeved December 17th. Down 47 lbs, and I feel better than I have in years.

I may be loosing a little bit of hair, it's hard to tell because of the menopausal Hair loss I've had for the past year. I'm not sure how to tell the difference. I had a little bit of bleeding gums, but I increased my Vitamin C with a chewable and it seemed to do the trick.

I feel so good, I have no complaints. I'm happy that I made the decision to have this surgery.

July 11 will be 7 months post op. I'm down 92 pounds. I'm finding I still perceive myself as really overweight. Picking out clothes is a little shocking as I go down a size every 30-45 days.

I was sleeved December 30th 2014 and have lost 48 lbs. About a month ago my hair started falling out like crazy, thankfully I have very thick hair so it hasn't been that noticeable but hoping it slacks off soon! I feel like my weight loss has been so slow. I am thankful for what I have lost but it is very frustrating going a month and having lost only a pound.

My Hair loss has evened out. I also had it cut short (a little too short) but it will grow out before it gets cold. You are probably losing inches. I stick to Protein and veggies. I hardly ever eat carbs except for a sandwich once or twice a month.

My Hair loss has also slowed down. I've lost 113 lbs since surgery on 12/29. I was stuck at the same weight for about a month, at 6 month, but I lost major inches within that time

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
