Slow loser due to my age?

I'm 57, 4 1/2 months out and down 81 pounds. I also have not exercised due to a broken foot. Got out of my last cast yesterday, so planning to start soon. Just giving it a couple days to build a little strength back first. Plan to walk as the first activity.

Actually you should be pleased with your weight loss, even the fact that it's slow. Due to it being slow YOUR skin will have a much easier time bouncing back which means much less loose skin. I'm 55 yrs old too and looking forward to my upcoming RNY and if that happens to me I'm going to tell myself "It took time to get fat, it's going to take time to get thin!!"
