sukik 59 Posted January 31, 2015 Is it harder to lose the last 20 pounds? I've really slowed down. How did you all do?
no onions 258 Posted January 31, 2015 In general weight-loss, it's always harder to lose the last bit of weight, so I suspect it is no different with WLS surgery. In the past, I've had to kick-up the exercise. I'm pre WLS surgery, but I think what I said still would apply. Hopefully some post WLS surgery folks will have some amazing tips! Good luck! Camella 209 Posted February 1, 2015 I am 19 months post op and I haven't been able to shift the last 20 pounds. I honestly think (at least in my experience) that the first 75% of weight loss is the sleeve, the last 25% is 100% you. Unfortunately I'm still working on me and I imagine once I can get my head straight the last 20 pounds will come off. Good luck :-)

MichiganChic 3,262 Posted February 1, 2015 I've been at the last 10 pounds for about 10 months. I'm not sure it's ever going to come off. I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking about adjusting my goal. Everyone, including 3 physicians, have told me I am not and do not look overweight. That number on the scale may or may not be the thing to strive for in every case....
