Olarance75 215 Posted February 19, 2015 Sorry thats snacking at night i need to real get my life back I feel like a failure and that I went through all that pain and suffering for nothing. Today my best friend mom is intp surgery imma try and get on her diet to get these plds off I remember my first month I lost 37 plds I was feeling like failure also but you can do it.... We have the tools. I didn't lose 1 pound last week because of my cycle but I stayed on track for the most part. Ate one bad thing and got over it. Back on track. Also if your hungry or want to snack eat more Protein at night. eat two dinners then drink water....that's what I did these last few days and lost another 1/2 pound. you can do this u have us to help you. We are in this together
Olarance75 215 Posted February 19, 2015 I think we should challenge ourselves to just go 1 week at a time. That way we can look at smaller goals and work towards that. No celebrating until we hit say 5 pound lost.
brazcan 37 Posted February 21, 2015 I am 4 years post-op and have been slowly regaining weight over the past 12 months. I am now 20 pounds up and feeling again tired, discouraged and sad. My size 4 clothes are in a bag now, and my size 6 pants are now too tight. I cannot see myself buying or wearing size 8 again. It is hard to quick start it again... Olarance75 215 Posted February 28, 2015 Hi everyone, it has been 1 month since I posted my weight. When I first started my reset I was 187. Now 5 weeks later I'm at 172.8 This has been hard but so rewarding. I found my willpower. Yesterday at work my team had pizza party and brownies and Oreo balls. I went into the room and talked and everything. What did I eat.....absolutely nothing. I drank my Water. Everyone kept trying. To get me to eat and I was like no I'm dieting. In my mind I was thinking if I eat that then I won't lose tomorrow when I get on the scale and that's not worth it. This struggle is real but I truly believe we can achieve our goals and be successful....trying for 6 to 8 more pounds by my doctors appointment whic is March 27. 1 Yahoo reacted to this
WL WARRIOR 692 Posted February 28, 2015 I've always had problems with middle of the night eating. It actually runs in my family and extended family. It got to the point a few years ago, when I would wake up in the morning and not recall getting up at night. Yet, there would be evidence that I did eat something at night on the table or counter. So, I started locking the cabinets and only keeping really healthy food in the fridge. Since weight loss surgery, I only keep vlasic dill pickles out (0 cal, 0 carbs, 0 fat, 0 sugar). Yes, they have no Protein, but I only eat them at the end of the day after already intaking 80-100 Protein grams. So, this has been my way to still have late night and middle of the night Snacks with no guilt and still lose weight. This may not be a solution for some, since not everyone likes pickles. If I'm craving something sweet, I just shake splenda on the pickles. I'm really not crazy. Desperate times call for desperate measures, so they say.
jusstice 103 Posted March 3, 2015 I was very glad to see this topic. I am about 2 1/2 years out, never made goal (by about 15 lbs) and this fall gained about 10 lbs back. I know the grazing has killed me. Also, being able to better tolerate carbs too. I have been trying to figure out what to do to get back on track. This week I statted with shakes as meal substitiutes with a nice high Protein low carb dinner. Hopefully I can get back on the right side of the scale movement. sabrina4you 17 Posted March 12, 2015 I need a reset too!!! I was sleeved 04/03/2012...not one complication and loved it! It's the best thing I've ever did for myself. I do tell my friends that it's the easiest but also the hardest thing...Easy because the weight just fell off but hard because it's always a mental game. Ahhh but I digress... My lowest recorded weight was 159lbs...although I think my lowest was at 148lbs (after gall bladder surgery). I am now at 182lbs. GRR...I'm so disappointed in myself BUT I know that I can do it. I want this 20lbs off and I will get it off. I've been planning my meals and starting trying to get in my Water (emphasis on trying) and I start bikram yoga this weekend. 160..you're calling my name! Wish Me Luck ! PS. If anyone needs an accountability partner...let me know 1 SlimDreams reacted to this

Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted April 6, 2015 It's so hard! Every where I go, people are eating. I just came from a movie. The smell of that popcorn is overwhelming. My friends are always eating Cookies and chips. I go up and down, but I really need to take 10 lbs off and stay in that weight range. I am sick of having nothing to wear.
