Justoperated 141 Posted January 30, 2015 I hit the gym 6 weeks after surgery. I am lifting about half of what I used to do pre-op and doing only 30 minutes. Yet by the end I feel a bit dizzy and weak. I can't drink much during weight training, feel full, though I can take more while walking. Any suggestions sleevers. BryBro63 410 Posted February 2, 2015 Since you're not getting the same amount of fuel you were used to taking in pre-op, that could be the reason you're feeling dizzy...are you still trying to get in cardio to lose weight? If so, you need to find a happy medium and be sure to concentrate on getting in a very good amount of Proteins in. Since you need the liquids, your best bet would probably be some good Protein shakes. Best of luck, my man!! BTW...6 weeks post-op seems kind of early to be doing weights...did your surgeon OK this? boccob81 244 Posted February 7, 2015 I get wiped out at the gym the next day unlike before surgery I could work out on a 5 day routine with good amount of cardio
Rovobay 920 Posted February 10, 2015 you likely lost a lot of muscle weight. it is unavoidable for the most part. keep it up at the gym. it will come back. you are still early out of surgery. things will start to come together soon. keep up the good work.
