Swampdoggie 477 Posted January 28, 2015 1. Not feeling squished in an airline seat, not having to use a seatbelt extender 2. Not feeling stupid as the really unhealthy ED of a health related non profit 3. Being able to ski again, garden again, and other active stuff with my FAM 4. Actually feeling good in my skin. 5. Yeah new clothes too. No doubt. 6. Not being stressed about public appearances. My dad passed away this year and my overweight and having to face the old hometown folks at his funeral really made the grief worse. Plus I felt so damn selfish to be worrying about how I looked to people when I wanted to be focused on my dad. So I guess see #4. Am happy to be on the road to better health! Thinkingthinner1109 485 Posted January 29, 2015 New clothes, new coats, new shoes, cute underwear. Lol. Met my goal last week and need a second job to support my shopping habits. My big goal was to wear a pair of Ms Me jeans. I now have two pair. Bought a new Malibu to Celebrate. It's sporty and yes I am one of those "old people" who drive a car that's a little sporty. Now my challenge is to stop losing weight. Harder than I thought it would be! Good luck fellow sleevers on you NSV's.

gofigure 56 Posted February 7, 2015 I used to really love to swim, but I haven't worn a bathing suit in years. I'm not expecting to end up with a bikini model body, but I am looking forward to swimming with my nephews and being more comfortable on the beach.

GreenEyes604 753 Posted February 7, 2015 I learned just the other day to begin appreciating the "little" NSV that will happen and you won't even realize it until you do it. For the first time in I can't remember how long, I was actually able to bend over and tie my own shoes. I have worn shoes that slip on for as long as I can remember, but that day I put my sneakers on and tied them myself. I almost cried.
minniegirl 258 Posted February 7, 2015 (edited) YES crossing my legs not being the largest person in my entire family not having to worry about the chairs I sit in (hearing that familiar sound of wood under stress) not worrying that I have irreparably SQUASHED someones couch cushions I want to parasail & zipline, I would never do it at this size giving myself a pedicure and actually being able to breathe climbing the stairs with out getting winded not having to JUDGE every space I need to fit thru because I don't want to be embarrassed having just ONE chin and looking cute in new CLOTHES!
