toastedink 115 Posted January 28, 2015 My tastes for things have changed. But I also can't do certain smells. There was a woman next to me eating Doritos and they were terrible. Cigarette smoke has gotten to be too much. I've gone out and had to leave early because the smokiness in the venue makes me gag. Is anyone else having these issues? LipstickLady 25,682 Posted January 28, 2015 I've had "dog nose" since my first pregnancy. I still have a hard time pumping my own gas. It got way worse right after WLS but it's tempered down now that I am over a year out. I hope yours does as well. It sucks.
toastedink 115 Posted January 28, 2015 I hope it will die down for me as well. But yeah, I can smell everything
sweetie716 270 Posted January 28, 2015 I could smell everything too post op, the one that drove me the most crazy was smelling other people's breath all the time. Thankfully it has subsided since. I would say by about the end of week 3 it seemed to be pretty much back to normal. I hope that it gets better for you, too!
unbesleevable1 420 Posted January 28, 2015 i'm well over a year out and still smell people's breath like crazy. Like, I ride a shuttle to work from the parking lot, and I know these people are brushing in the morning. I should be a gingivits-sniffing dog.
toastedink 115 Posted January 30, 2015 Oh man. I could smell my coworkers breath something awful yesterday. I felt bad because I kept holding my breath when he talked to me. Here's hoping he didn't notice. Lol
