Stomach Virus

My Kids were sick over the weekend with a stomach virus. I;ve been taking airborne to help my immune system, but today I feel like I'm losing the battle. I'm concerned what will happen if I start to throw up like they did (it was horrible). should I call the doctor to get some fenegrin (sp) ?

Yes! You should kekep something like phenegrin or zofran on hand. I had a stomach virus a while back and I'm really glad that I had zofran to keep me from vomitting a lot and potentially making my band slip. Call the doc!

I had that happen last January, had to have a complete unfill. Call and get some meds. before it happens!

I just got some Gravol suppositories to save myself from another defill.... I'm sure a prescription would be alot better, but I don't have a doctor, and try to save my 4 hour wait at the clinic for other matters!

Phenergan or Zofran should be in the cupboards of every banded patient IMHO. Phenergan comes in suppositories if needed.
