jayhawkgirl 33 Posted February 10, 2015 I experienced this sensation too and was alarmed by it. My stomach would growl so much at first it would wake me up at night! My dietician and surgeon said this isn't actually "hunger" growling it's my body trying to get rid of all the extra air and stuff in my abdomen. Usually if I just kept drinking, drinking, drinking...water, Protein shakes, etc. it would get better. I think the others are right too in saying that what we see on t.v. or smell doesn't help either. It's the way we're wired to believe that if we see it or smell it, we need to have some and it triggers something in our bodies. I'm trying to work on listening to my head more and my stomach less! LSF 264 Posted February 14, 2015 I'm always hungry also. Not sure if its because I'm cooped up in the house all day because of all the snowstorms we keep getting. Hoping it gets better when I go back to work
