I talk to them and they told that is cover and also I'm seeing a nutritionist and also seeing my lung doctors soon when I get my new card. Because I want to how much weight I need to lose before. I am already starting the paper for the surgeon

It's going to depend on your particular plan. Go online to your insurance company's website to view the plan brochure or call them and request a paper copy. Look for the section on surgical services, and the pre-op requirements will be under the section for surgical treatment for morbid obesity.

I have cigna...I had to do a 3 month supervised diet and nutritional

Psych eval.

No gain of weight for the 3 months.

Esophageal camera.

It's been a long road but my date is set for March 2nd

But.again it depends on your policy

Mine is same as above - 4 nutritionist visit over span of 90 days and psych evaluation. My dr told me Cigna only recently reduced from 6 months of nutrition visits to 3.

They didn't even allow it at all til just recently

I am waiting to hear back from my Dr office to see what the "official" statement is from Cigna. But I am hoping and praying that my 4 years (continuously) of weight watchers and seeing a dietitian in October will help speed that 3 months along. I think they will get back to me this week.
