icandoit! 5 Posted February 10, 2015 I would be sad if I could not wine taste again too. I'll have to admit that was a fear from my surgery. I guess I will have to make wine more of a special occasion maybe go to seasonal wine tasting events. and you know what, I am okay with that. I've made the choice for a healthier lifestyle and moderation is key thank you all for your comments on this thread it's been very helpful! Tomorrow I start week 5 post op. Down 28lbs!!! MistyAnnMoon829 387 Posted February 18, 2015 I have no issues drinking at all. I steer clear of all soda drinks, and it takes so much less to get drunk than it did before so i tend to take it easy. I can drink Moscato, mixed drinks, I don't drink beer so I don't know how I handle that. I do drink Ciders and there is no iproblem there either. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
