Pre-op EGD was easy peasy

Recommended Posts

What do you have scheduled after your EGD? If your doctor is suggesting it, does that necessarily mean that you are approved for the procedure? My EGD came along with a deductible. So I'm guessing my surgery was approved, otherwise I'm basically paid my deductible for nothing. . . .

the EGD (in my case)is not required for insurance approval. It is a requirement of the Bariatric COE to look around for infection, or hernias.
