It has taken me almost 6 months to actually decide if I was going to do the VSG or not , I have decided to get it done! Now I'm just waiting on one last clearance and kicking myself in the butt for waiting so long! HW 297 CW 290. I am 27 years old and my motivation for doing this is my 23 month old son! I'm so ready for this change, I've been telling myself that I refuse to spend another summer locked inside because I'm too embarrassed to take my boys out to the park. kaylanicole 0 Posted January 23, 2015 Oh I know! I have my son, but my boyfriend has 3 other children beside our son and we have two of them all.summer! I feel so bad not taking them anywhere to do anything because I don't want to leave the house! But not anymore!! I can not wait to start the rest of my life!! And best of luck to you as well!! Listen to your docs and do not be afraid to ask every single question you can think of. You can do this, and im only 5 weeks out, down many pounds and many inches. It is worth it. Welcome! kaylanicole 0 Posted January 23, 2015 Congrats to you !!! I have asked lots and lots of questions!! After all I bugged my Dr for 6 months before I decided that I wanted to do this! The hardest part for me will be not being able to hold my baby boy for a few weeks! I have been doing lots of reading and research! Also have started saving for skin removal because my insurance only covers it if it causes every day issues ie walking or yeast infection ect Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ChristieM 0 Posted January 23, 2015 Congratulations to all of you. I am on the same path currently booking appointments and waiting to set a date but feeling very excited. I am looking foward to not feeling so much pain and being able to move more freely. I have fibromyalgia and my weight has only made it worse. I have a choice and I choose to DO something about it.
