CheleLynn45 615 Posted January 25, 2015 I'm in Tucson. I was sleeved on 10/27/14 at Northwest Hospital with Dr, Chiasson. So far so good, had a pretty easy recovery and have been losing steadily since my pre op diet. Good luck to all of you out there just starting your journey!!! newbeginings85 28 Posted January 31, 2015 @@StephanieM I'm not scheduled yet my insurance bcbs requires 6 month supervised diet . I'm on month two . But I won't complain . What about you?
StephanieM 19 Posted January 31, 2015 I just finished my six month, already had my psyc eval and seen the nut. I submitted my info to insurance on Monday and they have 14 business days to approve or deny me. The six months flew by. This waiting seems like the longest part. StephanieM 19 Posted February 3, 2015 @@newbeginings85 I wanted to keep you updated on my experience with Dr Sprunger. I am in the process of looking for a new surgeon. My concern is that his office employees have decreased to himself and Melissa who sits up front (she is awesome). He also is not current contracted to do surgery at any hospital. He is in the process of working with St Luke's but I am not interested in waiting for that. Overall I was really happy with him and his office but there seems to be too many problems lately and I am looking for things to come together now. I have already waited 7 months. StephanieM 19 Posted February 3, 2015 @@carolvalen I am changing my doctor to Sr Juarez. My other surgeons office is going through a transition and I am not interested in waiting for them to get their stuff together. How long did you have to wait to have your surgery after you were done completing all of your requirements? How long of a liquid diet were you required to be on before surgery?
