Angelant76 8 Posted January 22, 2015 Okay so I had my procedure done today. I'll spare you all the pre op feelings and emotions. The short I am told it went exceptional well. Onwards, the incisions look good and the pain is bare able. The pain meds seem to help with this issue. The gas on the other hand - it's killing me! I'm doing gas-x strips every 2 hours but they appear to be doing nothing. Any suggestions are appreciated. Finally I'm told to sip Water, and I am but I can't help but notice this feeling that it goes into "the funnel" sits then makes it way down, but it hurts? Not sure if it's gas but it's awkward. Any comments? Ciao!
JustWatchMe 7,117 Posted January 22, 2015 Have a friend do rapid karate chops on your neck and shoulders a few times a day. And lots of walking. Good luck.
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted January 22, 2015 Ask your doctor to prescribe a PPI for the gas and walk it out.

Angelant76 8 Posted January 22, 2015 I'm 9 days out, I suggest lots lots lots of walking. Good luck how are you feeling? Do you recall on day 1 actually being able to feel liquid clearing the band? I'm told it's normal and likely due to swelling still. It has started to pass but wondering if you recall that sensation?
