Don't be terrified, stay calm and KNOW everything is going to be just fine and EXCITEMENT should be the word, cause it will be a very exciting future for you!! The BEST is yet to comem you'll see... Stay positive, go into this with faith and more importantly than anything, WALK WALK WALK WALK WALK to help with your gas discomfort after surgery, a few days later you'll feel like nothing and a month out, the weight will be already coming down fast and you'll be energized and feeling amazing!! good luck!! boosh10 98 Posted January 20, 2015 Kathy0529, I go to hospital at 11am and surgery is at 1. I wish it was earlier though. . Are you on all liquids or did you eat something light today?
kathy0529 41 Posted January 21, 2015 @@boosh10 I wish mine was earlier, too. They never said to do anything different the day before so I did my typical pre op diet day - 4 Protein drinks (3 done so far), 2 fruits, 64 ounces of Water (32 down, 32 to go) and 4 ounces of lean Protein. I'm a very picky eater and can't eat any more vegetables since I don't like that many, it's been hard to have the same thing over and over again, so I skipped veggies tonight. I will have a sugar free snack that's allowed in my pre op diet plan. The hospital said no food, but I could have clear fluids up till 3 hours before Surgery, but my doc's instructions say nothing after midnight. I'm going to try and go with out anything, but if I feel the need, then I'll have some Water.< /p>
