donnaNov18 6 Posted January 19, 2015 I'm only about 2 months out and total weight loss is 50lbs but has anyone tried body wraps so loose skin? Does it help?
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted January 19, 2015 You can make your own with Preparation H and saran wrap. Basically, it's a topical caffeine that will reduce the Water in the area you wrap. The effect lasts a few days unless you drink a shit-ton of Water (as you should be) and then you will plump right back out.
KristenVSG2014 1,872 Posted January 19, 2015 Body wraps are a pyramid scheme. All you lose is Water, not fat. Rub yourself down in some coconut oil and wrap yourself up and you'll get the same result. Don't waste your money.
laurenella82 625 Posted January 19, 2015 Not all wraps are Water weight loss. I used to use body wraps before I started on this journey and I plan to go back to them once I start to lose. The ones I used don't boast weight loss and it is suggested you drink lots of water while you wrap.
ProjectMe 909 Posted January 19, 2015 @@laurenella82 What types of body wraps were you getting? Did they involve caffeine? I like the idea of wraps if they don't sap my body of moisture or introduce caffeine...
laurenella82 625 Posted January 19, 2015 I have to look it up to see if it has caffeine but I don't think it does. It's all natural. Check out myitworks.com. they are a little expensive but to me they are worth it.

donnaNov18 6 Posted January 19, 2015 I don't want them for weight loss but have a friend that was sleeved a few years ago and said body wraps are good for loose skin...I was just really wanting opinions on what works or helps. My skin is very dry after surgery and I put lotion on several times a day.
laurenella82 625 Posted January 19, 2015 I saw a post on pinterest of a lady who used the wraps and defining gel by itworks to help with loose skin. She loved it! And it doesn't dry you out at all.
