I had my sleeve surgery may 2012. At the beginning of my journey I was 298.....I am currently 199 and I'm very upset disappointed and let down. I've fallen back into old habits. I need help from my fellow sleevers to help me push to lose the other 49 pounds I want to lose. I am starting tomorrow back on my shakes. Please feel free to contact me with help motivation tips or whatever you got

Much love

This happens to a lot of people specially when they lose very quickly because you have not had time to adjust and learn from old mistakes.

You can do the 5daypouchtest to get you back on track www.5daypouchtest.com and then you need to get really mentally in tune and listen to your body. don't eat when you are not hungry and do not wait until you are full to stop...do not eat fatty junk foods..just tell yourself I don't eat that ...don't say I cant eat that....denying yourself will just make you want it more...just be resolved and say, I do NOT eat that ....

Drink your Water, and I think after the 5 day pouch test you will be back to the basics and you will have found your groove again.

You went though too much to let this happen....Dont wait to start, start now right this minute right this second regardless of what you already ate today.

Good luck and I hope you find it in yourself to want to finish the game.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
