My plastic surgeon said I could start using silicone gel tape for scar treatment. He said brand doesn't matter so I'm curious what people on here used for their Tummy Tuck or lower body lifts? I had a lower body lift and it is mainly my hips and back that are red. My front is already looking pretty darn awesome! !

I just started using NewGel+E recently. Too soon to know if it is going to work. I have lots of scars from LBL, thigh and arm lifts.

I've still to undergo any skin surgery - i'm curious - what does the silicone tape do? how long do you keep it on for?
