sweetgagrl00 39 Posted January 17, 2015 Special note...don't wait too long to take your pain medication. They give it for a reason. I'm not a pill taker and I waited too long yesterday and ended up in tears. Also buy GasX!

tootyoyo 8 Posted January 18, 2015 You've been banded the same day as me!! Hope it's going well. Sounds like you're about the same as me - drinking with ease - bit bruised though! Take care xxxxx
sweetgagrl00 39 Posted January 18, 2015 Yesterday was awful but today is better. First day I have not cried. Lol Protein Shakes are still not very good. My taste seems to be off. I have whey 2Go Protein packs that mix with Water that's kind of like crystal light.
tootyoyo 8 Posted January 19, 2015 I'm not sure where you are but I'm UK and use slim and save shakes. They taste quite nice but I've only managed two today. www.sns.co.uk they taste quite nice maybe give them a try. It takes me an hour to drink one though. Hope that gets better. Sharpie 3,306 Posted January 19, 2015 Congratulations, you will get better each day. walk as much as you can, and drink liquids. I had to be on Clear Liquids for 4 days so I did not get Protein shakes right away, however I like muscle milk and I do sometimes still use that as a go to when in a hurry. sweetgagrl00 39 Posted January 20, 2015 Hi. I'm in GA. The pain has been manageable. I'm on day 4 post-op. Day 2 was the worst for me. Today I've slept a lot but tried to walk every two hours.
