That's probably at least 6 weeks down the road. It's not something I eat so I haven't had any trail mix. I eat nuts on occasion but I'm sure I didn't start until I was cleared to eat as tolerated.

10 weeks out and I still don't. Not because I can't but because they are trigger foods for me and I will eat more than I should...even at a slow pace. But nuts are good for you if you can control It!! I'm just not willing to take that chance......yet :)

My nutritionist suggested 6 months to make sure I'm fully healed up. I miss trail mix

My surgeon gave me orders of no nuts or seeds for 3 months. Now I eat mixed nuts with craisins mixed in every day.

I wasn't allowed nuts for six months. Trail mix is too high carb for my plan period. I experimented with nuts but stopped because they are slider foods for me and I couldn't stop eating them. So, they are not allowed in my house!

I love trail mix and nuts. That is why I do not bring them into the house. I am almost 5 months out and just started eating nuts last month. I do love flavored roasted chickpeas. I usually add some raisins to them. I measure 1/4 cup and it satifies me.
