PaulaD 0 Posted May 27, 2007 I was banded on May 17, 2007 by Dr. Connie Campbell at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. Because I was not quite up to 40 for a BMI, I did not have to lose any weight before being banded. I was 253 when banded and am now 243. I look forward to lurking around this site to learn the many things I will need to know.
edieparks 2 Posted May 27, 2007 PaulaD, This site helped me so much. If I had any questions I could get my answers here. It is like having a life line for banding. I hope you try to help your band with exercise and getting your liquids in. Follow your doctors guidelines for food.< /p> edie
AnotherMe 0 Posted May 27, 2007 Welcome Paula! Don't be a lurker open up, I promise you'll learn more by being an active member. We're all on a similar journey, and it's good to know there are others along for the ride. All the best, Karla
PaulaD 0 Posted May 28, 2007 Thank you. I try to get my 45 min. walk every day. My surgeon is a Nazi when it comes to excercising and now that I have the band I will see results!
