slkesler 28 Posted January 14, 2015 I was banded in Aug. 2013. I am finally in my green zone, I think. I am still sliming sometimes. I was just wondering if this could be caused by drinking too soon after eating. Any thoughts?
violetsmum 6 Posted January 14, 2015 I think maybe it could... Personally I am unable to drink anything after eating... I also have my drink first, it's a bit of a pain at times but deeply ingrained in me now!

Sliming is an indication you're overfilling your pouch.
s_suther 446 Posted January 14, 2015 I can't drink too soon before eating, about 15 minutes, and not for at least an hour after I eat. If I do, I have similar issues. You could also not be chewing as thoroughly as you should. Do you use a baby spoon or fork? i find that helps me tremendously to control how much I put in my mouth at a time and slows me down enough to prevent issues.
