Suggestion for website programmers

Okay, I know this is possible and I hope this site will make it so. Can you lock a room based on your profile so one doesn't "accidently" go into the wrong room? what example I wish to use is the posting by females in the guys room. I am sure there is some code in the persons profile (identifying ones self as male or female) which would open or unlock the guys room (likewise for ladies gone wild room). not only should you not be able to post in the room, but the room should not even be visible to the other sex. if the OP wants the other sex to see the post, the OP should post it in an appropriate room.

Don't wanna be mean about anything, but just trying to get the room to be used as it is intended. I feel that some men (myself included) would post more private men only questions but do not because of all the opposite sex traffic.

Well, it would be an improvement if a person could even TELL what room a post is from. From my phone, I can't while from my laptop and even kindle it is fairly noticable.

@@CowgirlJane Agreed, but icing on the cake would be no admittance.... like the veterans room would be unlocked on your first surgiversary.... ect....

I think this is a great idea. I don't know how many times I've clicked on a thread in the "Recent Topics or "Trending Topics" sidebars and then realized I was inadvertently reading a thread in the Guys Room. Most forum software allows for forum unlocking based on post count or rank, but I don't know about other criteria such as gender.

It's the phone app that seems to cause the most trouble. If I look at the timeline on the app it doesn't say men's room. If I'm looking at the site on desktop, I see it's the men's room. I may read but often I refrain from posting.

I volunteer to test the changes. :)

This is something that's already on our TODO list for 2015. Appreciate your feedback. Keep it coming!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
