Jschultes 9 Posted January 13, 2015 I pureed 2oz of roast beef with beef bullion. It was not good at all. I ate it any way I became nauseated. I was dreading dinner but it came anyway. I had grilled chicken in low sodium chicken bullion. The first bit and there was no way that was going down. I put that down the disposal. It then accrued to me why mix it with anything other than Water. I then did that that. It was good but I ate to fast and it took 2hrs to pass. I found this app called Eat Slower and tried that with sugar-free Jello and I was able to eat. I can't wait to try the app tomorrow. One minute and thirty seconds between each bit. My phone vibrates when it is time for me to take another bit. I will use it until I master eating. Love It!!! Any other ideas out there I can try?
ViciousVixen 35 Posted January 13, 2015 What a cool app! I'll have to remember it when my time comes. Sorry I don't have any advice in this area (yet)
Elode 8,093 Posted January 13, 2015 @@Jschultes Good idea for the newbies!
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted January 13, 2015 Sounds like you are doing fine. Trial and error is often the way we find out whether we like something or not. You can also try refried Beans (they may need to be thinned out) or hummus which you can eat cold or at room temp. Also instead of boullion which may be too concentrated try low sodium broth.< /p>

BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted January 13, 2015 My nutritionist suggested freezing it in an ice tray. You'll probably one be able to eat 1 -2 cubes at a time, and this way the Soup doesn't go to waste.
