tisty21 7 Posted January 13, 2015 I was told I couldn't have caffeine until a month after surgery, today I was cleared to have solid foods and start finding my balance with food but I'm told i have 2 more weeks left for caffeine...just curious if anyone else had this restriction and cheated? I want a good cup of regular coffee!!
CherieRyde 227 Posted January 13, 2015 I started drinking coffee as soon as I got the all clear for regular food. I also try to make sure I get my Water and then some.
newmetwenty15 16 Posted January 13, 2015 I think I missed the no caffeine for any length of time post op. My husband found a coffee area in my floor and when we went for walks he would make a cup to take along for the walk. I have since been drinking one cup every morning. Why did YAll get no caffeine post op?
B-52 7,113 Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) I can't live without my coffee...I now have a "Milfa" coffee maker imported from Norway That said; I had my first cup less than 24 hrs after surgery...and lived to tell about it.
