Dabliss111114 180 Posted January 12, 2015 Hi. My name is Deb and I had my gastric bypass surgery on Nov. 11, 2014. I'm looking to either start or join an "in person" support group in the Charlotte, NC area. As we go through this process, it's no secret that we have questions, have days of frustration, and sometimes just need to "vent" a little. I'm thinking we can meet either at the homes of those in the group on a rotating basis, or at some public location like a Starbucks or something similar. Anyone interested??? If so, please respond, and we'll see what we can get going. Deb
Teddy Davis 2 Posted January 13, 2015 Hi, my surgery is scheduled for Feb 2. I am definitely interested. My next 3 weeks are going to be crazy but I will check back regularly and keep an eye out for groups on other boards and Facebook.< /p>

Dabliss111114 180 Posted January 13, 2015 Gosh, I feel like the veteran here since I'm 8 weeks out. Hopefully more people will see the post and join us. I'm happy to help you guys through the pre op as best I can. I just think it'll be good to have a group of people in the area that are all on the same page that want and need the support. It can be a great venue for sharing, venting, and just plain getting to know each other. It's always fun to make new friends. Where in Charlotte are you located? Jaysen, I know where you are . What about the others? Hi, my surgery is scheduled for Feb 2. I am definitely interested. My next 3 weeks are going to be crazy but I will check back regularly and keep an eye out for groups on other boards and Facebook.< /p> Great. Looking forward to meeting you. Keep checking the post and we'll settle on a time and place soon.

Dabliss111114 180 Posted January 13, 2015 So that way someone can be of support to you too... For sure....I need all the help I can get..... Ate out last night and came home and got sick. Didn't eat much at all, but the sauce on the chicken was very rich. I guess my body couldn't handle the fat content. It sure tasted good on the way down though. Coming back up......YUCK!! Dabliss111114 180 Posted March 19, 2015 No, not yet. Have you had your surgery yet? I'm going to see Jaysen this evening to get my hair cut and colored. He's now officially my new hair stylist. He's great, and such a cool guy. I'll talk to him tonight and we'll try to come up with something. Love it that you live in Waxhaw. That's close...l'm in Monroe and he's not far either. Look forward to meeting you. I'll be in touch. Deb
