kimpossible67 608 Posted January 12, 2015 I'm pretty much abnormal by genetics gone haywire. For example, if I can't fall asleep at night I have a mega strong cup of coffee and fall asleep. So I was losing inches. But the inches aren't really coming off at all! My waist has been the same for months!!! T I'm losing though, 13 lbs in the last month (9 mths post op). My ankles have never gotten any smaller at all, they are 9 inches around. I don't understand. Am I one bassacward people???
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted January 13, 2015 Nope our weight comes off in weird places. I first realized I was losing because my boobs got smaller. Not my butt, hips, or ankles where I would have liked. To get that waistline and round booty we have to exercise. Otherwise the body just picks oddball places to release fat.
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted January 13, 2015 Don't forget we have a lot of internal fat, too. We can't control where our body stores fat, nor can we control where it is burned from.
