Countrygrrl 450 Posted January 11, 2015 Ok I'm just a few weeks post op and I don't know if it's the hormone changes or what but ???????????????? I feel like a 18 year old guy! And I was reading the guys thread (yes I know it's a no no) and they talk about better erections due to more blood flow... All I know is orgasms are way better. Also Quicker To achieve. This is tough because it's obvious my relationship is coming to an end. And now this!! ????gets rung !
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted January 11, 2015 By the time I lost the first 30 pounds, I was starting to feel friskier because I was just plain feeling better and feeling better about myself. My bariatrician doubled my Wellbutrin (which also boosts libido in some folks). Loosing over 65 pounds at this point has reduced my arthritis and neuropathy pain levels, and I was able to stop Lyrica as well. Lyrica is designed to quieten overactive nerves, but it can't pick and choose, so it quietens your nerves everywhere including your nether regions. Dropping that med alone made a significant difference in response and enjoyment. Needless to say, my gentleman friend is delighted with the difference and we have bypassed the frisky norm for our age. (63) So with your current relationship ending, you can, uh......practice .....in the privacy of your home, to keep the mojo going. Just sayin'.
blondiebabs 214 Posted January 12, 2015 Awesome!! About the feeling better and stuff. Sorry about the relationship. You can always invest in a rabbit vibe to get you through till the next worthy bell ringer comes along.

Dreamingofhealth 223 Posted January 12, 2015 It's very interesting how many aspects of life the sleeve changes. I was sleeved almost 7 weeks ago and for the last 2 weeks all I want to do is make love to my man! I'm insatiable!!! And I haven't been like this for a long time and I DON'T want this to end! Lol Sorry if that is TMI, but it's just nice to want to be intimate more than once a week.

sleevemom88 217 Posted January 12, 2015 Oh I hope this is headed my way. I've felt such a lack of desire for a few years now and was hoping there was a chance of that changing with the weight loss$
HaddocksEyes 205 Posted January 12, 2015 Oh I hope this is headed my way. I've felt such a lack of desire for a few years now and was hoping there was a chance of that changing with the weight loss$ I'm not one to comment on such - ahem - personal things but heck, it's the female forum! LOL! I've noticed I have way more interest and way more intensity when it does happen, and I've lost close to 45 pounds (started at 284 on the day of surgery). I find myself thinking about sex way more than before...yay. Husband now running away from me! Ha!
hadouni 301 Posted January 14, 2015 Oh yes... it was hellish because I was single through the worst of it... My advice` get a really good vibrator because you'll want to take the edge off quickly and often for a while! I'm three years out and all I can say is thank heavens for my hitachi and I have a boyfriend!

Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted March 11, 2015 A couple of weeks, usually. Some people don't have an easy recovery and it may be longer for them. As soon as you are comfortable and can find a position that he isn't squashing your tummy.
theskinnyone 22 Posted March 15, 2015 I resumed wifely duties????12 days post op. We had the rare chance to be home alone. No "issues" during or after. That should count as exercise ... Right? Lol
JustJaime5 32 Posted March 15, 2015 Lol. I've found its the perfect thing to break a stall. For some reason the next morning I always drop a pound or two so I'm going with a yes in the "is it exercise" column!
