Tired of letting weight hold me back from life and all that it has to offer. You all have been such a source of inspiration and I'm loving reading about your experiences, struggles and triumphs. ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted January 11, 2015 stalking @newbeginings85 hmmmm,i've heard of people like you.... welcome to the group always nice having another cutie enter the room glad you've enjoyed reading comments/experiences help from others "we" are all very nice here except for............... naw, she's nice too!!! if you are still deciding on surgery, which type to have i am biased to the wonderful sleeve i received 3 years ago and i'm still around to talk about it!!! the main complaint about surgery................ "they" other people (and me) wish we had done the srgy years ago!! if you have already decided on having surgery - thats terrific having WLS is wonderful gives you a new chance to improve your life are you DEFINITELY having surgery?? do lots of research read the boards ask your questions can't be TOO informed good luck kathy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
newbeginings85 28 Posted January 11, 2015 Thank you all for the warm welcomes. Kathy I am leaning toward the sleeve as well!!! I meet with my PCP on Thursday! Super nervous about it but I have wasted the past 20 years of my life battling my weight. Time to take this leap. I know my insurance bcbs sc requires 6 months supervised weight loss plan with my PCP .... Hopefully we can get the ball rolling this week on diet/ nutrition.
