BeagleLover 1,020 Posted January 9, 2015 No, I'm only a bit over 3 months out. Congratulations on your 90 lb. weight loss! You can do this, just go back to basics.
Pamalamb 72 Posted January 9, 2015 Hi KCSG,I am 8 months post sleeve and have not had your issue, but I heard a great story on NPR just a couple of days ago about changing habits. There was this study done and it showed that changing just something minor with a bad habit can help you kick it. If you know where your weaknesses are change something about it. I have an example, I like to read but I have historically snacked while I read. The study would suggest changing from my favorite chair to another to help break the snacking habit. You might check it out, I am sure it is still on their website.Maybe just some small changes will help you reset. You know what to do, you have done awesome so far. Don't give in to despair. Analyze yourself and figure out what you need to do to get ahold of yourself and do it. Good Luck!! Recycled 2,182 Posted January 9, 2015 You know how to get the weight off.......so do what you have to do to get that 15lbs back off and then set a Zero tolerance barrier of no more then say.......2 pound leeway. - You see two pounds creep in....get it off right away. Don't let it slide.
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted January 9, 2015 Something as simple as changing a chair????? I will have to try that because one of my geatest temptations is to snack while I read. HMMMM.
KCSG 38 Posted January 9, 2015 Thx all! Question: what's been your experience with drinking coffee? Yea or nay?

Rogofulm 2,440 Posted January 9, 2015 Remember that hunger is often thirst in disguise. Are you still getting in enough fluids, or has that crept down? Perhaps increasing Fluid intake would help hunger abate. As for coffee, I'm drinking as much or more now than I ever have. Possibly because it's winter and I'm freezing all the time! Haven't noticed any ill effects thus far. Good luck getting back on the horse! You can do this!!!

JonathanS 75 Posted January 12, 2015 I am in the same boat as you. I'm up 10 lbs from my lowest weight. I was just a few pounds away from goal and felt a bit defeated. My skin didn't snap back as well as I wanted. I looked in the mirror and still felt fat. I started falling back into old habits of emotional eating, carbs before Protein, not tracking, eating out far too much. I know how to get the weight off, I lost over 160 of those pounds so 10 should be a breeze ... right? Ha! I have started taking my lunch to work again, tracking my micros, eating Protein first and increased the days I'm going to the gym. The hardest part for me has been the hunger. But the hunger isn't from my restriction decreasing, it is from the amount of carbs I was consuming. I have already noticed a large difference in the hunger from cleaning up my diet. I am down 4lbs and can feel the difference already. I'm debating on adjusting my goal weight even lower and going for plastics ... but I will cross that bridge when I get to it.
