Has anyone read Khaliah Ali's new book about being banded?

Khaliah is Muhammed Ali's oldest daughter and was banded awhile back, I'm not sure exactly how long ago. I just bought her new book yesterday and started on it last night. It's really good so far. It's called Fighting Weight: How I Achieved Healthy Weight Loss with "Banding," a New Procedure That Eliminates Hunger--Forever. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking into getting banded. She wrote it with medical professionals so it is partly an autobiography about her own struggle with weight and her experience with the lap band but it also has a lot of medical information as well.

I ordered the book on Wednesday!

Should be at the house this evening. Can't wait to read it.

But it now makes me wonder how many other "celebrities" who have had the LapBand and are not public with it yet.

I have not read the book, but I did see her on t.v. last night...she looks great....they said she had lost a lot of weight, but didn't go into detail....

I think the Kirsti Alley, had some type of surgery....She might of had gastric bypass....she sure lost her weight really fast...She may not have, but she sure did get the weight off fast...that is why I am thinking gastric bypass...
