Garifab_VSG 122 Posted January 8, 2015 I'll just put it out there. I'm REALLY hoping to lose most of my chest post-surgery. I live my life in extreme pain because of the weight of my chest. My mid-back, most days, is in excruciating pain. My shoulders are starting to hurt now, too, and I am seeing what I hope are not permanent indentations from my bra straps. Has your breast size gone down post op? If so, please include how far post-op you are!
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted January 8, 2015 One year out and 66 pounds down. My boobs have gone from 44D to 38B at this point. They do not hang under my armpits anymore and are still perky enough at 63, that I think I can skip the boob job and just get a panni when I get to goal. Healthy_life2 8,324 Posted January 8, 2015 I'm a 114 down but still a D cup I had a mammogram and it showed that I had change in the density and a change on my right. It turns out this is a common situation for women with rapid weight loss. Of coarse they will see a change the girls are deflated. So glad it is not cancer. AvaFern 3,516 Posted January 8, 2015 I started weight loss as a DDD and ended (sort of ended, still a bit from goal) as a DD and then when I had plastics done (breast lift and augment) I am now back to a DDD. I feel like now that my girls are higher and actually full instead of hanging like udders, I am more comfortable with them. As for back pain, have you tried core exercises? The stronger your stomach is, the less your back will hurt. I am kinda slouchy, so I have to put forth a focused effort to not only keep my back straight, but also to make sure I get in ab exercises, because I notice it not only in my posture, but in a sore back, when my core loses some muscle. Hope you feel better soon!
SeahawksFan 444 Posted January 8, 2015 I am actually pretty happy to be smaller in the chest area post surgery. I was a 36DD and now 9 weeks out and down 35 pounds I am a 34 D. I got fitted at Nordstrom's and bought 4 amazing new bra's. I am about 15 lbs from goal so I am doubting that I will lose much in my chest with the remaining weight I am wanting to lose. I am only 5 ft 1 so being larger chested always made me feel frumpy and I also have a bad back. Feels great on my shoulders and back to be lighter. And doing my workouts is so much easier without all that bounce. Good luck- LA
amazon 579 Posted January 8, 2015 I was a 42C and am now a 36C, soon to be 34C. I'm happy they're going proportionately. Honestly, I hated them being in the way, so smaller = good for me. The only thing is I had curb feelers before surgery, and still do At some point, when I'm a year or more out and my weight is stable, I'm going to look in to a lift. CheleLynn45 615 Posted January 9, 2015 At my heaviest my bras were 48DD and they were tight around me. I am only almost 11 weeks out and just bought a 42D. I really need to get fitted but I am waiting a few more months (if I can) to do that. My weight is dropping pretty regularly still so once it slows down a bit I will. I do have to say my new bra is rather pretty and uplifting.
