allyray 108 Posted January 8, 2015 Just wondering if those of you who have already had your sleeves, do you find you look older? I'm thinking I will, not that it will stop me from getting my sleeve, but with over 100+ to lose, and with my age, I'm thinking I'll look older than I am with the sagging skin on my face! Thoughts? blondiebabs 214 Posted January 8, 2015 I was literally just thinking about this today. I've been lucky to generally look younger than I am and I think that is about to come to an abrupt stop. heh
Pac-woman 325 Posted January 8, 2015 I heard it depends on your skin type. (Oily or not).... I haven't had the surgery yet but I have thought of that. I had a friend who did the surgery years ago and she did look a bit older.

Chele H 427 Posted January 8, 2015 (edited) I don't know if I look older but I definitely have more lines and wrinkles because there is not fat in my face filling it in. Edited January 8, 2015 by Chele H

Miss Mac 6,262 Posted January 8, 2015 I don't know, but I feel younger. I know that I look better enough that I did not mind getting my picture taken for a new ID.
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted January 8, 2015 (edited) @@Sleeve101 Thank you! I have good genes in my family. My grandmother was beautiful. I know everyone says that but she really was. Those pictures were taking on the day I left the hospital and at my 3 mth f/u. I'll be 4 mths on the 18th. I hadn't noticed the weight loss until I looked at the photos. VSGAnn2014 12,992 Posted January 8, 2015 I'm 69 years old. I look MUCH younger now than I did 65 pounds ago. Needless to say, I worried about looking older. But it just hasn't worked out that way at all.

allyray 108 Posted January 8, 2015 I just an appointment with my nut and psychologist this am and just kind of mentioned this to them. They did say that a lot of their patients do look older after but not all! We shall see. Just had a call to meet with my surgeon but had to postpone because of an impending storm tommorrow!
