rte837 141 Posted January 7, 2015 WLS Vitamins.com Developed by a bariatric surgeon. Complete; very reasonably priced. BUT, caltrate with d is a good value especially if you find a coupon in the paper. I doubt ins. will pay. Never heard of that. But do keep receipts. Can itemize on taxes as you NEED it to live. tamg26k 479 Posted January 8, 2015 I take Centrium chewable multi Vitamins (you can find almost anywhere, very inexpensive) - 2 per day calcium citrate capsules from Vitamin shoppe(also inexpensive) - 2 capsules, 3xs a day B12 (from costco, even though it is twice the dosage I was told was fine, also inexpensive) Vitamin D (almost anywhere) Iron (capsules from Vitamin shoppe) I'm 6 months out and no longer take any bariatric specific Vitamins. I'm hoping within the next few months I can switch to a regular multi vitamin instead of a chewable
wildGoose 207 Posted January 9, 2015 my surgeon suggests Flintstone for children! Seriously! No need to get overly fancy. People get rich selling us junk food, and they get rich helping us heal.
anaxila 501 Posted January 9, 2015 (edited) I take Celebrate Multivitamins so far. They specialize in bariatric supplements, but I'm still waiting on instructions for more supplements after I'm further out from surgery. You can order a sample pack on their website (http://www.celebratevitamins.com/) to see how you like the taste before you go all-in. The sample pack contains pretty much every product they make, but you can also request something specific in the comments box if you need it.
