kimpossible67 608 Posted January 7, 2015 Learning I love to hike in winter. Still searching for missing person. I've logged 36 miles plus in less than a week! I've gained 3 lbs but whatever. I'm hiking some stiff terrain and my clothing and hiking wear is adding all of 10 lbs.
Elode 8,093 Posted January 7, 2015 @@kimpossible67 Good exercise! Too bad it's for a not so happy occasion. What state do you live in? Isn't it cold? How long will they search for?

Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted January 7, 2015 Hiking is on my wish list (and taking a walk in the snow, on the beach, and anywhere that I can't walk now). I recently read Bill Bryson's book A Walk in the Woods about hiking the Appalachian trail. I then gave all my nephews hiking guides for their states for Christmas. I look forward to being able to join them on hikes in the future. As a former Michigander I don't miss the extreme cold. Bundle up and stay warm! Still praying for your search...
