livlife 2 Posted January 4, 2015 I was sleeved in December 2012. Initially, I lost 45 pounds, but suffered with severe reflux. An endoscopy revealed that my pouch was twisting and I had surgery to straighten it. Reflux was significantly reduced. No other major problems, just that I cannot seem to stay focused on doing all of the things I need to do to lose weight. I am disappointed in myself that I had this surgery and failed to be consistent and have gained back the weight. Is it too late? In another post, I read about the 5 day pouch…something or another. I guess is going back to the liquid diet? I am not sure. If anyone can assist me with this, I would really appreciate it. It is 2015 and I have made the decision to get back on the wagon and get healthy. I am a mother of three (ages 19, 9 and 7) and a professor at a community college. My life is very busy. I have made the commitment to take care of myself and do what I need to do to feel great and be around for my children. Thanks for reading this post and I appreciate any feedback!
